How to get my desires and plans fulfilled?
“May God grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans” (Psalm 20:4). This is God’s promise for you. Our God is the God who grants the desires of our hearts, and it is He who fulfills all our plans. The Scripture says, “Man may have many, many plans of their own. But it is the will of God which will only be established in the life of a child of God.” And in Ecclesiastes 3:11, the Bible declares, “God will make everything beautiful in its time.” Yes, it will happen to you for it is He who places desires within our hearts. So, when God puts a desire, a plan, in our heart, what should we do? According to John 14:13–14, we must ask that the Lord will fulfill the desire or plan in the name of Jesus.
The Lord also says, “Allow Me to do everything for you.” Whether it is marriage, your studies, your family, a decision to move, buying a property, doing ministry, or settling matters for your children, the Lord says, “I will do it. Ask Me.” In Luke 18:41–42, when the blind man cried out to Jesus, the Lord called him and asked, “What do you want Me to do for you?” That is the same question He is asking you today, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man answered, “Lord, I want my sight.” Immediately, Jesus said, “Receive your sight. Your faith has made you well.” In the same way, when you ask Him, He will say, “Receive the blessing,” and He Himself will do it for you.
In I Kings 3:5, the Lord appeared to Solomon and said, “Ask Me whatever you want Me to give you.” When Solomon asked for wisdom, God not only gave him wisdom but also wealth, riches, fame, and more. Yes, He will give you much more than what you ask. But for that, according to Matthew 6:33, the Lord wants us to “seek first the Kingdom of God.” And then, “all these things will be added to you.” He calls you to live righteously, and in doing so, every blessing will be added to you as His gift. So, do not be afraid. The Lord Himself will give this blessing to you today.
PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are the God who grants the desires of my heart and fulfills every plan according to Your perfect will. Lord, I surrender my desires, my dreams, and my plans into Your hands. Place within me the desires that align with Your purpose, and in Your perfect time, make everything beautiful for me. Jesus, You asked the blind man, “What do you want Me to do for you?” and today You ask me the same. So, I come boldly, asking in Your name, knowing that You are able to do more than I could ask or imagine. Help me to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and trust that every blessing will be added in Your time and in Your way. Thank You, Lord, for doing it for me.
