Receive the Comfort Of God – Stella Ramola
My dear friend, God’s promise for today is from Psalm 23:4 which says, “Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Yes, my dear friend, God will comfort you today. When I read this verse, I remembered the testimony Mrs. Vasanthi from Coimbatore shared in Coimbatore. She said she was so concerned about her children. She was very worried about them as they weren’t obeying her. Not only that, she was going through a lot of financial difficulties. In that situation, while she was watching TV, she saw an advertisement about Bethesda prayer center. She saw that there is a prayer center in Coimbatore where people will pray for her and where she can find peace and comfort.
Not knowing anything about the place, not knowing anything about Jesus, she had come to Bethesda. The prayer intercessors there prayed for her and after the prayer they told her about the Blessing meeting that was happening that week. She also came and attended the Blessing meeting with great expectation. During prayer time, my mother, Sister Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran prayed exactly according to her need. She said there are many mothers who are concerned and worried about their children and are praying earnestly for them. Today, God will bless your family. Not only that, He will also make you a mother to many more children. You will comfort and care for many other children.
When she heard this, she thought, “My own children are not obeying me. How am I going to be a blessing to other children?” But even then, she prayed, along with my mother. Now to her surprise she is a blessing to many children, caring for many children. She is a mother who prays for others. Her own children had started obeying her. Yes, my dear friend, today in the same way, God will comfort you and He will turn you into a comfort to others. You may say, “I have nobody to love me. I don’t even have a father or a mother or friends who love me.” But my dear friend, God is going to comfort you and will make you a comfort to others. Whatever you are longing for, you will give to others. So be bold and know that your Heavenly Father is there with you to comfort you in all your situations. Today, trust in Him and receive this comfort from Him. God bless you.
Prayer:
Loving Father, Thank you for comforting me with Your Loving words. Bless me and let Your rod and Your staff comfort me. Build up my life and help me to stand, build and comfort others with Your love. Help me to become a blessing to many others and give to others what I have been longing for. In Jesus’ Name, I pray Amen.
