Dear friend, God has new blessings in store for you for this day. As His mercies are new every morning, God has new things in store for you today. Today’s promise is from Ezekiel 36:26 in which God says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” I have seen my grandfather pray this as his prayer. For seven long years he sought the Lord and prayed saying, “I want the greater thing that is in You. I want it to serve You Lord.” God answered that cry on the 10th of October 1962 and told him, “I am removing the heart of man which is the heart of stone from you, and I am giving you My heart of love and compassion.” In a moment, my grandfather was transformed.
Yes, God can transform you too in a moment. Are you crying saying, “Lord, I don’t want the bad habits and evil ways that are tormenting me. I don’t want to have this bad nature in me. Make me into a new person.” The Lord is going to transform you right now dear friend. He will give you a new heart and a new spirit by shining His light on you. After my grandfather had this encounter with the Lord, every time he saw the people, he would be moved with the love and compassion of God. He wouldn’t deal with them as any other man instead he would bring God into them.
What a transformation it has been! The power of God will come into you when you receive a new heart and a new spirit from Him. We are thankful that our family and so many prayer intercessors along with us, have received such a heart because of His grace. Today He’s giving you this new heart and a new spirit. It will help you overcome the weaknesses of the flesh and the temptations of the world. You will be able to become more than a conqueror. This was what happened to Saul who got transformed into Paul. God put in him a new heart and a new spirit. The same man who tortured others gave himself to the work of Christ. God is going to give you a new heart and spirit so that you too will become a temple of the living God and you will serve people for Christ’s sake. May God give you this new grace today. Loving Father, Thank you for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and giving me a new heart and a new spirit. Let all things pass away. Change my heart of stone into a heart of flesh. Thank you for transforming me right now. Fill me with the characteristics of the Lord Jesus. Let me shine Your light in this world. Let me be Your living temple and glorify Your name by serving others. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
